Steve Israel may speak a good game when it comes to women's rights and equality with men, but his actions show a dismal record. As highlighted in other blog sites, steve israel fails to acknowledge women as his equal and to be treated with dignity. The following is a direct post from another blog, " Israel and Wasserman Schultz are opportunistic careerists who serve the interests of their slimy campaign contributors. If they gave a damn about the Republican War Against Women they keep talking about, would they be recruiting conservative, anti-Choice Democrats who support the same positions as Boehner and Cantor?" Steve Israel has not only recruited facist conservatives betraying our blue liberal cause, he in his personal life has betrayed not one, but two seperate women that swore him the eternal oath of love and loyalty only to have him stray into infidelity and even forstering a love child with a teenage intern.
I cannot say that people are perfect because they are not, but steve israel has nothing but contempt for women and uses them and discards them as if they were put on this planet for his own playtime. His sponsorship of pro-women bills is apalling and he has done nothing for equality that we all seek.
Perhaps it is time that we discarded the right leaning steve israel and primaried him with someone that respects women and is willing to put forth legislation to show it!
